New Boss, beloved protean power-pop outfit from Charlottesville, Virginia, is back with their first release since the Third Sister LP (2017). “My Security” is catchy paranoia pop a la Sparks or XTC. Will Mullany’s unnerving, perfectly pitched animation will resonate with anyone who lived through the banal horrors of 2017 on some hopeless little screen or other. The No Breeze EP comes out on Infinite Repeats (LP) and on cassette via Funny/Not Funny in May.
